Testimonials

“Jenny Barber has carried out Mock Inspections across all of our settings for some time now. I can wholeheartedly recommend her service as this allows us to carry out a full review and reflection of our settings ahead of an actual Ofsted inspection. The Mock inspection itself is a great practice run for staff who have perhaps not been through an actual Ofsted Inspection. Jenny carries out the inspection very fairly and professionally which also allows us to find out about changes within the framework that we may have not otherwise been aware of. The feedback at the end of the day is extremely open and balanced, and the final report provides a valuable tool for the setting to continue its work in progress.”

'Thank you for the other day, it was great to see you and spend time with you in the nursery reflecting on our practice and thank you for the report, I and the staff have now read it and as a team we feel we can put those improvements in place, we would so love to be recognised as an outstanding nursery as that would mean we are getting it right for the children and that’s what we are all about really.'

"After receiving an ‘Inadequate’ rating from Ofsted at one of my settings, I decided to look for an Early Years Advisor who would visit and carry out a ‘Mock’ Ofsted style inspection, give constructive feedback and advise on where improvements could be made.Luckily for me, I came across Jenny on the internet and contacted her to ask for help. Jenny replied very quickly and without judgement and an ‘Inspection’ date was set.Jenny was very thorough and professional and gave great feedback at the end of the day. The following day I received a full report outlining her findings. The constructive advice was very accurate and a huge help in moving forward, so much so that I then asked Jenny to visit another of my settings, where I had just appointed a new Manager. The whole process allowed me to evaluate my settings with confidence. I will be asking Jenny to visit annually as part of our continuous development programme."
